GOLD COAST TEAM TO WATERDRAGONS SWIM MEET

The Gold Coast Regional Association is looking to offer swimmers in the region the opportunity to represent the region at the Twin Towns Water Dragons Meet to be held November 3rd & 4th 2007. Swimmers 13yrs & over will race on the Saturday and 12yr & Under will race on the Sunday. Club coaches are invited to attend as part of the team and swimmers will be required to wear their club swimsuits. The Region will pay the nomination fee for 4 events per swimmer, provided that these events have been swum by the swimmer, with any extra events are to be paid for by the swimmer/club. Clubs are to pay the Region for all events, but will be reimbursed after the meet. Each swimmer will also be given a Regional swim cap. Transport is to be provided by the parents of swimmers.
The Swim Program consists of normal events as well as novelty and dash for cash events. A final program has not been done yet and when it is received we will pass it on to all clubs in the Gold Coast Region. Clubs will send their nominations and any extra nomination fees to the GCRSA Race Secretary Amanda Savage.

As many clubs do not start their season until September/October plenty of opportunity will be given to these clubs for their swimmers to attend and reminders will be sent out.
